The food here is absolutely amazing! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The seasoning was spot on—not too heavy, not too mild—and you can really tell quality ingredients were used. The dish was served hot, beautifully presented, and packed with rich taste that keeps you wanting more. Portions were generous and totally worth the price. Overall, this place delivers comfort, quality, and great flavor all in one. I’d 100% recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Food is excellent. Fusion Indian. The best thing we had was the butter chicken and the mung daal halwa dessert.
Happening spot and it was a fun and enjoyable time. The cocktails are excellent too. Bar tender is on spot. Our server Alisha is awesome. She gave us good advice with what to order and how much is enough for our table. She didn’t just get us to over order. Honest servers like this is what we appreciate.
Overall highly recommended!

Food here is great. The black pepper chicken was excellent. The black daal was very well made. Service was excellent. Drinks were delicious. The dessert is too good. Someone has said in a prior review that it is loud but I disagree. It’s happening and lively, and everyone is having a good time. The manager is a kind and friendly person. I would highly recommend this venue. Allergies are also perfectly accommodated for. Thanks for a great time.

We just happened to walk by this Resturant and decided to go in and try it out. We had the Lamb Chops and Lamb stew it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Lots of flavor and good size portions. We were very impressed with the service, atmosphere and attention to detail we received. We had the Kulfi Falooda for desert, what can I say, it was amazing. I will definitely be back. I made this place one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I would really recomend to anyone looking for some really good Indian Cuisine!

There are a lot of great Indian restaurants in New York, but you can stop your search here because this is THE SPOT!
🥘Most importantly- the food is served hot/fresh with amazing flavors. They put effort into the presentation, which is always appreciated. The menu is substantial, but small enough to maintain a high standard. You can tell these are dishes from a Michelin-star chef because the flavors are so balanced, and not over-salted. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!
💰It’s not a “budget” restaurant, but it also isn’t an insanely-priced cash grab, and they’re delivering an excellent value for your money.
🌺 The vibe is lovely. The colors and decor create a nice ambience without being overwhelming. They were playing modern songs at a comfortable volume- think Arijit Singh, AR Rahman, etc. Seating was comfortable without feeling crowded.
🤗 TBH, I often find service lacking in Indian restaurants, but the staff here was so friendly and attentive! They cleared our dishes and refilled our water as needed. They checked in throughout the meal, and genuinely seemed to care that we were enjoying ourselves. They make every table feel like a VIP table, and this creates an exceptional dining experience!

I recently dined at this Indian restaurant and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious every dish was full of authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite.
The mocktails were just as impressive! They were creative, refreshing, and perfectly balanced — easily some of the best I’ve ever had. They complemented the food so well and made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
What really stood out was the service. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable, checked in at the right times, and gave great recommendations.

The food is richly spicy (as in taste), perfectly balanced in terms of heat (spiciness), and elegantly presented! The ambiance is perfect – you feel relaxed and removed from the Times Square bustle! Sri and Prat were very attentive and patient in explaining the dishes and our options! Overall, it was a memorable dining experience – one that I’d love to experience again while different items on the menu!

My friend took me to Saar for dinner and I love it. The restaurant is so beautiful. Their customers service is outstanding. The food was delicious and their cocktails were very good. We tried different dishes and all of them were good. Lots of vegetarian options. Alisha our waitress was magnificent. She recommended us very good appetizer and cocktails. She was friendly and attentive. All of the staff were very good. The owner came to check on us and made sure we were having a good time. If you like Indian food or are vegetarian you need to check this place. I definitely recommend it and we’ll be back.

Good location for a meal before the theater. Good drinks, good food.
The drunken botanist drink is the most interesting but the saar elixir is good if you just want an alcoholic mango lassi.
I like naan and the eggplant appetizer. The pistachio Chicken is ok but the pistachio doesn’t really stand out as an ingredient. The goat stew is pretty good but it was advertised as medium spicy but was less spicy than tapatio.
